It's January 2015, the start of a new year.  It is also a year in which the Armenian community world-wide will be commemorating the centennial of the first genocide of the 20th century where 1.5 million Armenians lost their lives at the hands of the Turks.

In conjunction with the commemoration, I have been invited to show many of my works, both sculpture and paintings, at the Fresno Art Museum.  I am in very good company with ten international artists.  The show will be previewed on Jan 22, 2015 and will be open to the public on Jan 23.  I've been humbled by the prospect of showing my work at the museum and sharing the spotlight with such well-known artists such as Arshile Gorky, and William Saroyan.  It's a time to remember our ancestors who lost their lives and others who survived and immigrated to the USA and other countries around the world.  I'm greatly honored to be part of the commemoration.
